Better Late Than Never! EXO’s Euro Trip Recap!

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve gotten back to the rough-Buff. We’ve been playing catch-up at our office, but we couldn’t wait to share updates from our trip!

Paris was everything we could have dreamed of.  I spent my birthday there while checking out the Eifel tower, shopping on the Champs-Élysées, dining on lobster and taking selfies all over town! We checked out some amazing shops including Colette, the Nike Lab, Guerlain, and many more! We got hooked on espresso, ate a TON of bread, visited the Louvre, and the Pompidou.

Italy was even better! When we got to Venice, we took a water taxi to our hotel. We drank champagne and ate tons of gelato while taking a gondola ride, of course! After Venice, we traveled to Florence/Tuscany.  We visited the Boboli Gardens and climbed to the top of Piazzale Michelangelo overlooking the entire city with a great view of the Duomo. We went wine tasting at a beautiful villa in Tuscany riddled with rosemary plants, basil, and olive trees. From there, we traveled to Positano on the Amalfi Coast where we spent a lot of time by the pool or on the beach. Positano had a very laid back vibe. The aroma of lemons and lilacs lingered as we walked down cobblestone streets, weaving in and out of little boutiques. We took a boat ride to the island of Capri!  It was a fabulous adventure. Everything was lush, fresh, and beautiful! We ended our trip in Rome by visiting the Coliseum and the Spanish steps!  History was all around us.  The food we ate was always seasonal and came straight from the land or sea – nothing was processed or artificial. It was so refreshing!

Our 16 day trip was a fantastic experience, and we cannot wait to go back! Who knows…maybe one day we will have a small EXO shop somewhere on the beautiful Amalfi Coast! 😉
